I am a real estate agent in Markham Ontario. I have been licensed since 2004 and it was the best decision I ever made. I love the real estate industry. My passion is working with buyers to find the right home for them. no matter what.
As a Realtor® I am regularly approached by companies who want me to advertise on their websites. They promise to generate qualified leads for a price. As a consumer, what this means to you is that when you are on a website and they suggest that they have partnered with agents, those agents are buying your name.
Ask yourself, would you be comfortable dealing with someone who has paid to be introduced you.
Would it not be better to have someone you know or who has been recommended by someone you know, working to help you make your biggest financial decisions?
And if you know of someone who is looking for a Realtor®, would you recommend that they shop online for a stranger, or would you refer them to someone you know and trust.
The best way to grow any business is to do such a good job that your clients spread the word about your services. The worst way to grow your business is to continue spending advertising budget to buy new leads because your past clients would never recommend you to their friends.
In my experience the agents who are the most successful and have steady business are not the ones whose faces you see on billboards and websites, but the ones who work closely and carefully with their clients to help them make the best decisions for their investment.
I devote myself to serving the needs of my clients before, during and after each transaction. I ask that they refer me to people of comparable quality who are thinking of moving and would appreciate the same level of attention.
It seems to be working since my Real Estate business continues to grow each year. I am grateful for the faith in my skills. As long as people keep referring me, I won't have to hunt for new prospects and buy names from websites, and I can do an even better job working for them.
If you, or someone you know is thinking of moving, give me a call. It never hurts to have a coffee and talk about the market.
Looking forward to another great year helping people find their perfect space.
Personally, I am married to a great guy and we have 3 fabulous kids, even though they are teenagers.
I belong to the Yorkminstrels Show Choir (we've been doing 'GLEE' for 50 years) and enjoy a good book or a crossword puzzles in my downtime.
